365 movies in 2012 (or as many as I can manage).
So I’ll just say right now that I do not expect myself to actually manage a movie a day for the entire year. But I’m going to try to watch as many as I can, because I just kind of need to.
You all should also know that at the moment, I am mostly operating off of a list of movies that Abbi has recommended for me so they will all probably have very high rankings because she has impeccable taste.
★ I all but loathed this movie. (There won’t be very many of these. Like this will have to be really bad.)
★★ I endured this movie. I won’t make any effort to see it again.
★★★ I was entertained. Definitely not bad, it could have been better but this is a perfectly good ranking. (Do not think that a three star movie is bad, by any means. It’s just not as good.)
★★★★ This movie was all kinds of beautiful and I probably cried some tears. You should watch it, stat (stat means now).
★★★★★ This is the most incredible thing I have ever seen on film and you should watch it as soon as possible because if you have not seen it then that, my friend, is a sin. (There won’t be many of these either, just because I don’t want to overuse it. It will be saved for the very, very best.)
